Red Poppy Festival
Tons o’ free fun every year in April with our favorite flower! Poppies grow all over Georgetown. Enjoy the parade, car show, live music, artisan market, food court, and the annual Red Poppy Poster Contest.
Blue Hole Park
Bordered by limestone bluffs, this picturesque lagoon offers trails, picnic spots, and a wading area along the banks of the San Gabriel River. Swim, fish, and hike at Blue Hole Park. No admission fee and parking is free too!
Fishing in Lake Georgetown

Inner Space Cavern
Accidentally discovered by a Texas Highway Department drilling team in 1963, the 25 million year old cavern has been open to the public since 1966. Visitors can see amazing rock formations and prehistoric animal bones in the best-preserved cave in Texas. Take a Saber Tooth Zip Ride!
White Wing Golf Club
White Wing Golf Club, the second of 3 golf courses at Del Webb’s Sun City is an 18-hole, par 72 course and is open to the public. In addition to the 18-hole championship course, White Wing features a nine-acre practice range and putting green, plus two chipping greens and practice grass and sand bunkers.
Georgetown Winery and Vineyard
This award-winning winery has been in business since 1891 with the planting of their first vineyard. Taste wines and enjoy cheese trays in their tasting room or patio, located in a 127 year old building on The Square in Downtown Georgetown.
Round Rock and the Two-Pound Donuts
